Orange and Green Boracay Reception
Palm trees in Boracay? Check. Green grass in Boracay? Err…
Hannes and Lea’s garden reception held at the Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort was a tropical celebration of a fresh orange-green color scheme fit for a beautiful non-sand under-the-palm-trees affair.
The Dinner Reception sign, featuring the palm leaves seen throughout their wedding stationery, marked the garden reception spot. Bamboo gazebos draped with simple white cloth framed most of the orange-striped-cloth-covered tables, giving the reception set-up an intimate tropical feel.
Taking cue from the bamboos, wooden elements were present in the table centerpieces: wooden boxes held floral arrangements, whereas wooden frames were used to display table numbers, sporting palm leaves yet again. Following the color scheme, different kinds of orange and green blooms were used both for the wedding cake and the table floral centerpieces.
Surely this garden reception wasn’t your typical Boracay beach wedding party. Its well-thought-out fusion and subtle incorporation of various beach and garden elements made Hannes and Lea’s wedding such a vivid event to remember.
